Ideal 3 Car Garage?
In the interest of provoking fun discussions and not bitch fights as my previous thread became, What is your ideal 3 car garage? Why?
I'll start off...
Background: I have wife and kid. Wife doesn't drive stick.
Car 1: Play Car - Ferrari F430 Coupe with F1 shifters. I know this is a Porsche discussion board, but if I could afford anything...
Car 2: Commute Car - Audi RS6 (debadged). Need stealth so clients don't ask about it.
Car 3: Wife Car - Mercedes S65. She loves Mercedes and puts up with me.
I'm missing an SUV/hauler, but I don't think I want to substitute for the Audi. A Cayenne Turbo is hardly stealth, even without the model designation.

When I have a 3 car garage, its going to have to be 2 cars deep so i can get up to 6 in there. If i were only limited to 3...
1. 944 of some sort (most likely my current one)
2. Lamborghini Gallardo
3. Pagani Zonda F
Although, i would also enjoy having a modern Porsch, Cayman or 997 C4/S or similar, and probably an older Ferrari. Dino, 328, 348, or a Testarossa or something.

I have two kids that I like to take everywhere I go...
1. Aston Martin DB9 (in 2+2 configuration) in Midnight Blue with Tan interior and blue piped seats (or blue stitched)
2. 997 TT in Vesuvius with Seal grey mirrors and rear wing mid section. Interior in that grey that came with some purple tint. Deviating interior with black. Sport adaptive seats with back painted outside color. Large carbon fiber package.
Those two would be our daily drivers. Since we only get to choose only one more… it will have to be my dream car of all times…
3. Miura SV on a rotating platform… a couple of foldable chairs to sit and just stare at this beauty… …and some napkins for the slobbering…
With enough disposable income… then I would add a Porsche C-GT and a horse to the stable… F430, 575 (or its replacement).. but no F1 for me… a proper 6 (or 7) speed manual shift stick please…

Well, I never like the word "dream car". I try my best to buy cars that I like and within my budget, and I don't dream about cars that I cannot afford. My current three cars in my garage are:
1. 993 Targa (my summer car, garage queen)
2. Cayenne S (wife's car, all weather SUV, and family car all in one)
3. MINI Cooper S (a cheap but fun car for daily use, can park anywhere with any worries)
My recent thought is to replace the MINI with a 997S to make a 3 porsche garages, but the three kids are growing fast (age 9,7 and 2), so a BMW 530xi may be more realistic.

These are always fun threads. Here would be my 3 car garage if I was filthy rich and not a working class stiff.
1. Red Ferrari F430. I love Porshe but until the 997 Turbo I think the F430 is THE car out right now. Definately a weekend car, take it out on Friday night and cruise around downtown.
2. Cayenne Turbo with Powerkit. Ill take it in Basalt black and with as much carbon fiber as you can equip it with. I think the Cayenne would probably be my daily driver. Tons of power, better handling than 90% of the rest of cars on the road, and tiptronic becaues of f#*king traffic. With all that torque and the monster brakes on the Power kit, it would make an awesome tow vehicle. I dont think there is a better car to take long drives in, road trip time.
3. 996 GT3 RSR. Track car obviously. If this whole thing was a reality I would probably never get to enjoy my F430 and Cayenne as I would die in a horrendous fireball when I wrecked the RSR at my first track event because it was WAY too much car for me.

Easy. For me it'd be three different platforms for the three types of road -
For the open highway it's gotta be "point and shoot", so a Mercedes SLR.
For the mountain twisties it's gotta be "scary and hairy", so a mid-engined Porsche Carrera GT.
For the city, the snow, hauling people, towing and all the rest it's gotta be a Cayenne Turbo.
Oh, and a Schwinn Heavyduty with saddle baskets.

Instructor
- 996 GT3 as daily driver
- Pagani Zonda for a bit of fun
- Ferrari 430 Spider for posing
And of course a Yamaha R1 to blow them all to pieces in a straightline thrash.
