You put it in a garbage bag and store it in the back seat.

Until the tires need replacing. Evreytime I have used fix-a-flat, it made a perminent fix.

Perminent is a little extreme don't you think?

Not at all. If all you have is a nail hole, the fix-a-flat makes a perminant repair. The tire does not leak, even a little. I drive all over the country and have never had to replace a tire because of a nailhole leak. In some cases, like on the Porsche, I will have the tire removed and have it patched from the inside when I find the time. But I would have no problem getting a nailhole flat 1000 miles from home and repairing it with fix-a-flat.

Too bad he was driving an NSX...

Yeah I know. I wonder if they added a sound track of a real car pealing out when he sped off in that under-powered Honda.

I drove my M3(no spare tire) from Vegas to LA for the auto show on Saturday and returned on the same day. There is cell coverage all the way down I-15 ( at least on cingular). I wouldn't think twice about making the trip....do it!

Or pay 50 cents more per gallon for Chevron.....
See, there are all sort of things to do in Baker...

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one ..............

don't be a pansy porsche owner who's biggest worry is about what the best claybar is to use
enjoy your car!
We drove a rental from oregon through california and the sierra desert to vegas through death valley and back to oregon - 2500 miles round trip, including some off road fun in the sierra desert - and no flats.
BTW if you oregon guys have a chance to buy a used Enterprise rental that's a silver 06' pontiac grand prix from medford, run away
if you're that worried about your new car, rent something

i just did this drive last weekend. i was wayyy worried about a flat, but you know what, that's what i have AAA for...i have the one with a 300 mile tow, so whatever, back to LA it would go. no worries. :-)

the car was AMAZING throughout the whole trip.

on the other hand, last time i drove to vegas and back, my car (a mustang Cobra show/race car) at the time lost its fan.....talk about a bitch. waited in the hot sun for three hours before the two truck showed up (called a tow truck driver friend from LA to come get it, as i didn't trust anybody else with it). but in the end it was okay. and the car was stolen a few weeks later. hence why i purchased the porsche :-)
