You're lucky. 95.9 over here must be limited to the Orange County area. I think they bill themselves as The Fish. Maybe it's KFSH or something on the call letters.

Aw c'mon, no need to delete the post. Now people will think I've really lost it (at least those who aren't convinced by now), and am now starting to throw out links left and right to phantom posts that are not really there.

Ben - I was just getting ready to ask how you were able to program a "random link generator" on your PC!

KLOS still rocks, but I hate it when they play some really old stuff like The Doors (yawn) and The Beatles (yawwwwwn). The Beatles???? For crying out loud, how old do they think their demographic listeners are? ... And when, during their frequent Block Party Weekends, when they just have to play an obligatory block of The Doors or The Beatles, I quickly change the station to KROQ for a good reliable dose of something stronger.

It used to be that 93.1 Classic Rock was known for playing that older stuff, but since they were taken over by Jack FM (which plays a decent mix of rock), KLOS seems to have taken up the slack and is playing the old stuff for the older crowd, instead of sticking to what they do best like AC/DC, AeroSmith, Nirvana, Van Halen, etc.

And don't think the idea hasn't crossed my mind either.
