So that people don't have to sift through scads of posts:

"In any event, the fix is to go into the Audio screen on the PCM and uncheck the "Traffic" program."

Thanks SrfCity. The solution is more important than the statement of the problem. D'Oh!

Btw, was that you I saw traveling eastbound on Warner and turning south on Edward shortly after Christmas around midday with your wife in the car (at least I think that was your wife )?

You bet. And I wouldn't have minded if it had changed to 106.7, one of my presets.

But noooooo, all I got was a heavy dose of Snoop Dog on 105.9.

Well, I was in my Seal Grey 997 heading eastbound alongside you and waved at you. If you wondered who that nut was waving at you, it was ME! ... Or maybe you didn't want to be recognized, having the GF with you and about to do who knows what at that time of the day.

Hmm, it must have been someone else as I don't recall anyone waving at me in a seal grey 997.

Hey guys, thanks for the tip. I had a problem on New Year's with the radio mysteriously switching to 103, and thought that I must have been accidentally hitting a button, even though I do not have any buttons set to 103.

"Little bit of heaven, 94.7 KMET, Twiddle Dee, Ughh" Before KNAC and when KLOS started handing out those damn "Rainbow Stickers" with the band names in them at concerts...

Frazier Smith used to fill in occasionally on 95.9 here in Ventura--I remember when he used to rag on Steve and Cindy Garvey all the time. I think they finally sued him?

95.9, of course! I had forgotten the call letters. Used to be one of my presets also. Now it's some Christian rock station or something.
