For those in OC, here's a great place for buying these. And for those outside the area, you can order from them using the part number here:

I just get in and drive it as fast as I can. Why waste time with a hair dryer? What are you, a driver or a hairdresser?

I've been using Griot's Garage producys for years. (On line catalog & mailer). Make a wonderful MF drying towel as well as MF chamois. Nice product line.

I use Adam's jumbo microfiber drying towels. I have several products from Adam's and really like them.

Buy two of them and you're all set!

I've tried the P21s drying towel and it deteriotates over time and you still need to use a towel.
I also endorse the BIG BLUE.

yup, thats the place. i buy nearly all my care care stuff there.

i think people that dont use chamois, dont understand them, know how to use 'em, etc. its the de facto standard for many high-end detailers i've met.

I second the leaf blower, Stihl BR 400. No spots, no scratches, no streaks. You do have the neighbors who roll their eye's though.

water. i highly recommend u try it especially u have a dark color car. the less u rub on car the less swirl u'll have. water can dry 90% of the car & the remaining 10% i use microfiber towel dip dry it. no rubbing = no scratches, no streaks.

I use 100-125 mph for 5 minutes or 1 exit, whichever comes first.

Which brand do you consider to be high quality? (i.e., what do you use)

Ron, I can't believe you'd seriously consider using a cotton towel.

I use a giant waffle weave mf from pakshak....they are based out of Hawaii, and have one of the largest collections of different types of MF I've seen.....Their high end towel edges are trimmed in silk...Good bunch of guys as well, they always throw in a freebie or two with my order

I will second (third?, fourth?) the Sonus Towel. They are large but not too large. I've been using them for some time (since I discovered Autopia). But, for those who haven't tried a Blaster, you should consider one. No risk of contamination that could take place with a gas powered leaf blower. Blaster works great with wheels, also.
