Default What do you use to dry your Porsche?

I've seen ads for drying devices in Panorama, I've seen Mr. Clean drying kits at Target, and there are countless terrycloth and microfiber towels made out there.

What do you guys swear by?

I use waffel weave MF to get the bulk of the water off, then follow up with an electric leaf blower to blow out as much of the remainder as possible while drying with more MF towels. These things seem to hide water in all sorts of interesting places. It takes me as long to thoroughly dry it as it does to do my Landcruiser

This one is the trick:

http://www.properautocare.com/bigbludryint.html

Buy two of them and you're all set!

I've tried the P21s drying towel and it deteriotates over time and you still need to use a towel.

MF drying towel, followed by the P21 S. Think I'll try the big blue above though.

Ron, did you not read my drying recommendations?

The P21S drying towel was a waste of money. I gave it several tries but its tendency to stick made it practically useless. After 20 yrs I finally came across the best drying technique.

Adelie baby penguin chicks. I find about 3-5 are required to dry the entire car.

For you guys up north, you can substitute the penguins with baby Eastern Canadian Snow Geese. Great thing about the Snow Geese is that you only need 2.

ymmv,
Rob

The leaf blower thing then a little light shamy then those flourescent green microfiber towels from Costco. They leave very little micro fiber lint
