agreed $1700 is a good deal. but lets remember that some of our OC compatriots are stretched really really thin and dont have that kind of cash to throw around. if you spend all your money on a car you can't afford then these kinds of things are usually out of the question.

sad really.

I hear you. But for me this is not only a car for me but also my hobby.
and you only live once.sounds like a one time deal.Make a nice trip out if it.
just stay within your means.

Hey icon that is the best avatar I've ever seen.
btw, no need to drop that much on Porsche's DE, although it is fantastic. I went to Sebring before they moved to Alabama. You will learn as much or more with more seat time at your local track with PCA (Porsche Club of America) or POC (Porsche Owner's Club) or BMWCCA (BMW Car Club of America) and spend less than a third of that price for a great two day track experience.
