Road Trip Began: Vegas - Cleveland - Vegas
As many of you know, I ordered my p-Car 6 weeks ago from an out of state dealer, Porsche of North Olmsted. After communicating with them throughout the build process, my P-Car arrived.
Day 1
Well, yesterday I boarded the airplane to Cleveland to pick up my P-Car at Porsche of North Olmsted.

As I arrived at baggage claim, I was greeted by the dealership. They were kind enough to pick me up at the airport and bring me to their dealership.
There, I saw my car in person for the 1st time. (Pics to follow soon) I loved it!! I met everyone from the dealership who knew I was enroute and were waiting to share the experience. The car was detailed, had the tinted windows and clear bra completed prior to my arrival.
After arriving, they gave me a loaner car (MZB E350) which I drove to the hotel they graciously booked for me, the Ritz-Carlton. The service and hospitality has been 1st class.
Day 2
I drove the loaner car back to the dealership, where the service department was changing out the sidemarker lights to the clear marker lights. They also began installing my radar detector for me and worked with me in selecting the best location.
After paying for the vehicle, receiving my paperwork and title, I logged onto Rennlist to bring everyone up to date. I will be having breakfast with one of the salespersons , then back to the dealership so they can teach me how to operate the systems on my P-Car. Again, the staff here at Porsche of North Olmsted has been so graciious and professional in assuring my visit and stay here is perfect.
This afternoon I visited the Rock n' Roll Hall of fame museum. Bernie at the dealership provided me with a lifetime membership and a personal tour.
Later this evening I will be at the dealership's grand opening party, then back to the Ritz for the final night in Cleveland.
Tomorrow I start my road trip back to Vegas. Tune in for updates along the way.

What a great experience so far and you haven't even started the best part - driving the car! Based on what you've told us it'd be easy to assume you paid top dollar, but reading the past posts I understand he's given you a great deal! Great for you and hopefully more business for him!

DAY 3
Day 3
All I can say, has been said many times before. "WOW!!!!"
What a machine.
Left North Olmsted this morning, and now I am staying in Illinois this evening.
The car is awesome. I still have to be somewhat conservative for break-in, and somehow I am managing to do so. With the tip, I am driving mostly in "D" mode, and toggling the paddle shifter down to 3rd. It holds for 8 seconds, rev's up to 4,000 RPM's or so, then automatically upshifts to 4th, then 5th.
Every so often I am bringing it to 5,000 RPM's for a second or two, then letting the car coast back below limits. Also, I would exit the freeway, stop for a few, then back on. This allowed the vehicle's RPM's to drop down below 2,000 RPM's.
For the first day, I went approx 525 miles at 21.3 MPG. Average speed was 60, although at times I hit 90 in 5th (under 4,200 RPM's).
Along the way, I figured out the PCM Management sytem and programmed everything to my liking. I was even using the P-GPS and it works fine (although not as well as my Garmin portable I brought, just in case).
I also figured out the PASM, sports mode, etc. As I said, what a machine!
Tomorrow Kansas, then the next day.....home.

Glad your enjoying the drive!!!
America the Beautiful!!
Where in Illinois are you? Hows the corn looking?
You may be one day optimistic on your ETA home.
Hope you make the detour thru the Grand Canyon, you will not regret the vistas.
Mappy Motoring!!

Very impressive looking car, and even more impressive is the incredible service. My hat is off to you for an incredible negotiation. You received a great deal and they still liked you enough to put you up. Good job.
