Craig - Sorry to hear this news. I wish you my very best for a successful treatment and speedy recovery. Rennlist will be waiting for you.
Bring a laptop with you to the hospital so you can use the Porsche car configurator to map out your next treat during your convalescence.

Craig,
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. That's news nobody ever wants and no Rennlister wants to hear about another member. Stay positive and keep your mind on a long and bright future. I look forward to reading your posts for many years to come.

Craig,
Like you, I am a member of the club no one wants to join. I was diagnosed with CA in the throat 2 years ago and I am still battling it at this time. I have had 27 rounds of radiation and more than that of chemo. I am still being treated and have a quality of life that is still appreciated. Aside from stating the obvious of being positive etc.. Gather your best friends and family around you and that gives you amazing strength. Enjoy each day to its fullest when you feel good and control what you can in your life, let the other stuff go.
I can tell you that driving on the track has been one of my primary joys and it is one of the things that I can continue to do and get better at. In a weird way, my cancer is responsible for increasing my track time since my wife encouraged me to get my dream porsche a GT3 which I take to the track whenever I can. Ruth/wife asked me if I would regret not getting a GT3 if things didn't work out with my cancer treatment and I said yes. My wife than promptly told me to buy a GT3 and I have not regretted it one bit. It has been part of my therapy and has helped in my comradarie with fellow car guys.
I don't have much more to add than "carpe diem". It has worked for me and I have enjoyed many days more fully than when I did not have CA..
I wish you all the best, bob moore

Craig,
Like all the rest, I'm right there with you. You're in my prayers. Medical science has come a long ways. My wife is three years out from being diagnosed with brain cancer, and is doing great. Stay strong, you can beat it.
