Default Do you park your car in the garage every night?

curious as to how many owners park their Porsche's inside the garage, at night. is it nightly? weekends? never? we have a two car garage but only have access to one parking spot and it is a tight fit when getting in and out of the car. i am resisting the urge up to now to keep the car outside (would still be within closed quarters (behind the backyard fence, not in the front driveway) but the daily Houdini squeeze is becoming quite tiresome, especially at 530am.

would pertain more-so to daily drivers than anyone else.

thanks in advance!

Every night for me; although if these freaking rattles don't go away I've threatened the car with outdoor parking as punishment...I then noticed a small tear developing in his left headlight

I have a few neighbors that leave one or two their cars outdoors so they can keep worthless crap in their garages that they'll probably never see or use again...

Garaged work and home, daily, nightly, without fail. (When it's not in use, that is)

Isn't that soo typical of American homes??
They store their garbage in the garage, boxes, bicycles, toy cars, etc...
and leave their cars outdoors. What's up with that!?

i have to share the other half of the garage with our Ducati, children's bicycles, washer/dryer, storage and the like.....i have been religious about keeping it in the garage every night but the early morning drill (Houdini) is wearing on me. rover lives in the driveway which means that i have to back that thing out no matter where i keep the p-car......

what we do for our cars

Haha nice poll... most of us park in a garage.

But I'd add an option "every night, except when on road trip.."

BTW I have a neighbor few houses down with a blue 996 cab that parks outside a lot and sometimes with a car condom, strange because I know he has a decent sized garage.... Wonder what kind of junk he has in there lol

Here's another similar poll:

As for mine, it has never spent a night outdoors since I took delivery. And during the week it's always covered with the DustTop in the garage. And if I don't plan on driving it for over a week, it's plugged in to the battery maintainer.

When I lived in Miami I left the P-car on Cape Cod. Had no garage at the town house and I figured the car would be in South America by the end of the week!

Plus I'd get to keep my headlights!!!

Compare and contrast to London where there is at least one Porsche parked outside on each block in Chelsea and Kensington. Most are still there in the morning, with their headlights!!

Only in America do people store their cheap lawn care equipment in the garage and let their expensive cars sit outside.

I had a third car garage built a year before I ordered the 997. It is always parked in the garage.
