Is a 997S a wider bodied car ?
I thought a 997S coupe was the same body as a 997 coupe if both were rear wheel drive only. My buddy says no.

From the '07 997 manual:
Both 997 and 997S are 71.2 inches wide. The 997/4, 997/4S, 997/Targa, and 997/Targa S are all 72.9 inches wide.
So yes, the 997S coupe and 997 coupe are not "wider bodied".
