With fall arriving I was driving my 07 997 with the lights on. My wart on the dash didn't light up with the rest of the interior lights. Is this right??

It only illuminates when it's on (being used)!

As said, you have to actually be timing something (what that is I have no idea) for the SC to light up. It's kind of a shame because it actually does look better when it's lit up!

You can begin timing and stop it and it will stay lit when the lights are on...I stopped mine at 9:11.

That's what I did with mine, too. I don't tell people how many tries that took, however. Talk about feeling like a dork, sitting in the garage for 3-4 minutes trying to get it to stop on the magic number, 9.11. I hit 9.08 several times along the way.

I've got mine stopped at 9:97. I know others on the board have done so as well, so it's not that original. Still, it's a great way of differentiating true enthusiasts. Those who are in the know won't ask why it's stopped on 997.

Apparently when I boosted my car, my light stays on when my headlights are on, but its damn annoying when driving at night. Hope I can get it to stop.
