Default My first Porsche -- Yippy!

Hello Everyone,
Ever since I was a kid I have wanted a Porsche. Maybe it's because I'm half German or I've always loved the cars looks and ability to perform and maintain quality. Well, 2 days after my 3rd girl was born I bought this beauty. Lucky me, healty, beautiful baby, and a Porsche! Attached are some pictures for all to enjoy. I've already started the little modifications. Here are the vitals on the car:
2006 C2
Porsche CPO
X51 Option
7,320 miles when purchased
Factory Aero kit
Factory short shift
Sport Chrono
Sport seats
Added myself,
Pedals, new lloyd mats, red tail lights, hardwired V1, other things to come! I've got my first Autocross on Sunday, Yahooo!!

I look forward to my Porsche experience and joining the Rennlist community. Thanks,
S.T.

I Guess the lack of sleep from the new baby has caught up to me.

Thanks for posting so many good shots. This is where the new red rear lights look their best.

Well congrads on the new 997 and welcome!

I see you too like the look of the Aerokit. A word of advise from another Aerokit owner. Change the lower lip which is easly removed, with a GT3 matte black lip. Store your original lip and drive with the GT3 lip. Trust me, you'll thank me later!

Problem with the lower lip is one steep parking lot exit and your nice clean and painted lip will get trashed. The GT3 ones are cheap and disposable.

Another item, paint protection film. Save my paint numerous times.

When I ordered my 06, I wanted the X51, but just could not see dropping another 17K for only 26HP. Sweet engine nonetheless and wish I could have if funds were no option.

I like the pedals, and mats, very nice touch!!

Now, get out and drive her as often as possible.

Regards,
Deanski

Deanski --
Already found out the hard way about the lower lip. Taking my girl to school and SCRAAAAP! I said ouch out loud and my girls asked what was that noise. When I told her she was sad. Future Porsche owner I'm sure. I will have to look into a different lower lip. Thanks for the advice.

I'll keep things updated as I make changes.
