Smart Top Question?? Please
I Just installed mine tonight,,
Luv it !!
But a bit freaked out by a prob that another member posted that his top went down on its own ??
It would be a real nightmare with the unpredictable weather we have here in
South Florida just to imagine if my top would decide to go down on it's own!!
Anybody else have this happen to them??
Also Did you guy's yous the optional Velcro strap?? I did not??

I had a SmartTop on my car for a while. It worked great and was everything advertised until it failed catastrophically. The horn was blasting and the top would not go up. My car shop took the unit out and reset the top. I lost 5 days of use of the car, two-way shipping, installation charges and dis-installation charges. Thankfully, there was no damage to the car. My cost for this failure was greater than the cost of the part. I did not even get a simple apology from Wilhelmy-It and there was considerable confusion over my refund. Do business with them at your own risk. A detriment to the aftermarket community.
