Default S cars have self adjusting clutch?

Hmm, didn't know the base C4 didn't have this. Is this a big deal? I guess as it wares down it adjusts so as not to change clutch travel?

Nope. The "S" does, the regular flava C2 does not. Neat-o huh?

IMHO it is really not a big deal, since all 997 clutch are very durable and last a long time.

So is there a difference in the clutch plate or just the mechanism to auto adjust the plate as it is worn down? Does the clutch feel differently? How about the hydraulic mechanism?
