Default Fuel economy on a 997 C2S?

Thought I would take a poll on what kind of combined fuel economy people are seeing on their S.

Unless I drive like a complete grandma or pure highway driving, i've never once gotten better than 18mpg on a tank.

Still in the break-in period with a 20 mpg avg. Of course, that'll change once I'm able to actually start "driving".

I've only got 470 miles on my car and therefore still deep in the pains of break in but I'm averaging 20 mpg since taking delivery and I'm regularly seeing 23 mpg on my freeway trips to the office (about 20 miles each way).

I bought a C2 for the better fuel economy and the smaller carbon footprint! The S is just a guzzler and in these times of diminishing resources and green house gases I just wouldn't have been able to sleep at night.

BTW My track car sure loves a few shots of leaded 110 octane with a 93 octane chaser

Averaging over 23 mpg so far in the 7k miles since new last Nov, but will deteriorate now that I don't have my CAI working (seems to stop about the same time I put my summer tires on), and the AC will be running more. Mostly highway (70-80mph) driving. Always premium fuel.

From the GT3

Lets see some shots of those PCM's with Continous selected....
could be interesting to see the speed and mileage over time

I do 50% of my driving in the highway, I average around 15 mpg...I also deal with a lot of traffic.

As a test, I got 27 MPG driving 500 miles all highway flat roads at 85 MPH. Not much of acceleration. When I really drive I get about 17 MPG

I'd say 70% of my driving is local roads, traffic. Anywhere from a low of 12 mpg local to high of 25 mpg highway. I'd say prolly about 15 mpg average.
