Hey guys,

I'm curious as to the average age of the 997 owners on this board. How old are you now, how old were you when you bought your 997, how old were you when you bought your first porsche?

Also curious if anyone does any of their own work on the car. I did (still do) EVERYTHING on my 95 M3, but this 997 is a very strange creature to me, what with its tiny rear engine compartment... I don't even know how to check/change my oil in this car.

Sorry if this is a repost, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I'll start us off - I'm 25.

heh... i did search "age" but i didn't look past page 1

There is only one page of results using "age" as your keyword, and only two threads on the page.

51 now was 41 when I got my 996 in arena red, then 43 when i got the 996 c4s, then 46 when I got the cayenne tt, then 48 when i got the 997 c2s
