997 Cab Question
Sold my '04 Boxster S 550 and have an '09 C2S Cab arriving at dealer next week :-)
Was wondering if Porsche makes a device for 997 Cabs similar to the red clip they made for Boxsters that enables the passenger compartment microwave alarm system with the top down. I found this to be very useful due to providing additional protection when conditions allow for not closing the top.
I understand that the red clip was designed by Porsche originally so that service techs could check if the interior alarm system worked with the top down.
Best regards,

Thanks for your responses. Maybe the 997 Cab passenger compartment detector IS enabled with the top down and that is why there is no need for a "clip".

Check the manual under the alsrm section. The '07 manual states that when the top is down, the passenger compartment detector should be DISABLED.
