Enjoy. 5MM front and 17MM back from Porsche.
Now you can appreciate just how low the sports PASM is compared to the first generation with just standard PASM.

The car looks great!
I am not sure I understood what you meant. Did the car come with 5mm/17mm spacers from the factory or did you order the spacers from Porsche then installed them after you took delivery?

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Looks really good. My car looks exactly like yours!
When you say Porsche spacers...did you order these from Porsche? I have seen the H&R spacers in 17mm but not the Porsche.
thanks!

they say spacers change the steering geometery. Mass, have you noticed any difference in the steering?

None whatsoever. The steering is mostly affected if you drastically change the front. Since I only went with 5MM in the front, there wasn't a change.
Thanks for the comments, guys.

WB cars like mine, with Carrera Sport wheels, come with factory 17mm spacers on the rears. They don't work with all wheels though, because they are bolted to the car, and the wheels bolt to the spacer. The spacer bolts stick out a little from the face of the spacer, and require wheels that have recesses between the bolt holes. My Champions don't have these recesses, so I need simple spacers with longer bolts.

The simple spacers (not factory) it would make it easier to change between wheels needing spacers and wheels not needing spacers (presumably your track wheels don't need them). You'd just need to remember to use the long bolts with your wheels using spacers, and regular bolts for wheels not using spacers.

I was considering doing the same with 5mm and 17 mm spacers but was concerned that the inherent understeer would be further increased with the 17mm spacers in the back.
When you say it hasn't affected the handling, have you done driver's ed with the car before and after? Or are you just talking about highway driving?

Northvan997C2S on 6speedonline is a serious track person, and he has 5mm front, 17mm rear spacers on his narrow body car. You might check with him if you need more info.
