Default Has anyone else seen this happen?

I was putting the new stickers on my license plates this afternoon and I happened to see that the space between the bumper and my bumperettes was filled with small stones. I had to use a small flat head screw driver to gently get them out.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

My detail shop uses a high pressure hose/wash first for this very reason. We all have tiny rocks around the entire car in the seams.

I don't know if I would be bragging about having small stones on a Porsche forum.

The first place I looked was your state,--granite. (My area is mostly sandstone,--and thus smaller and slips through).

You're not alone. I have them too. Gotta clean them out every week or so. Same model yr, and color as yours too!

Mine has a few pebbles trapped in there also. I think these get in there from the underside as opposed to the outside of the rear bumper. If I recall correctly, aren't there some gaps/holes at the attachment point between the bumperette and the rear bumper? I suppose the rear tires kicked up the pebbles that made their way into the bumperettes, which then got collected at the exit point.
