Congrat!!!! That's is the ultimate.... I love and wanted that color for my first Porsche but my wife said "No Way". It's beautiful !!!!! Stand out really sharp. Since it's a Turbo, are you going to leave the 997 forum and join the Turbo? Loved all your humors and post...You are one lucky dude!!!!! Enjoy!!!

The 997 forum is my home forum and I suspect it always will be.
To everyone else who has posted kind words,....thanks! I'm in pig heaven (more like cow heaven with all the dead cows that went into the interior).

oh wow Dave!!!! well done!!!! enjoy in good health. I can barely contain myself now being close to 2 months 911-less. I am even beginning to contemplate a 1st gen 996 to get me through to the next one - never thought I would do that! So i can imagine seeing it at the dealer was erm... a mistake for which you have paid dearly!
Yes do go for black wheels, you can paint the turbo ones real easy and at low cost...
One more I would consider is the all red tailights. Dont know if they are available in the states tho...
Enjoy enjoy drive it all the time! take care. regards to lovely Boston.

Don't be coy
I agree, black wheels would set the car apart.
Red taillights are available here, but they'll cost you dearly and really... I would go for the top clear lenses being painted black with something like night shades, personally...
Finally, the wing should be painted with a flat black tape, I think. Personal opinion, of course.
But more matte, like...
I realize the GT3 RS is carbon fibre, but it would REALLY look quite nice, in my opinion! Of course, you also have some years on me... You might be too old to 'get' my line of thinking....
Anyways. Again, enjoy! Always up to something silly everytime I come back, aren't you Dave?

Three Wheelin'
This is awesome Dave - I'm so happy for you! I wish I could be you man! My divorce wiped me out so I'm on my last P-car and it may be on the trading block this spring, but it was a fun run for the 17k miles I've had it.
