Default Whe We Stay In California: Spring

With sales taxes and income taxes climbing and all that sort of rot going on in California, it's no wonder more people aren't bailing out of Kalifornia.

But it is days and scenery like this that keep us stuck, knowing it can't get much better. Welcome to Spring in the California hills.

Figueroa Mountain in Santa Barbara County. California Poppy (state flower) and blue lupine.

Yeah, I know. No reason not to fire the rascals and bring sense to life in California.

No pix, but spring is pretty in Arkansas, too. You might have us outclassed in waves and Mexican restaurants, but our barbecue wins.

I remember helping my friend to clean up ducks during the duck hunting season in Arkansas back in the high school day.

No doubt California if beautiful.

Here are some photos of me and my riding partner riding my horses at the beach in South Shore, Massachusetts last Wednesday, 57 degrees & sunny. The water temp was 36 degrees.

You used to be able to do this in Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, California, but it's not environmentally allowed anymore, especially on a Black horse.

OT: Those guys look like a happy bunch.
Rexhame & Plymouth beaches, MA. I wish I was at South Beach, FL.
When it warms up I'll take them swimming like the photos.

Love the horses in the water! I used to go out to Fourth Cliff when I lived there.

Cool. We switched coasts, I used to live full time in Corona del Mar(Newport Beach), CA.

Thank you for the pictures. Nice to see, particularly when you are looking out the window at another cold, rainy New York morning.
