Question:
What products do you recommend for leather care?
What is the best? and for a garaged car how often should it be used?
Thanks
Answer:
Porsche offers a leather conditioner, that is certainly a good option, available mail order or at any dealer. Griot's Garage sells some good products and now they have a spray type, a wipe product, etc. On www.griotsgarage.com put in Leather Care for a Search.
We had a similar question recently on the 997 board, spe cifically regarding the leather on the dashboard. Here is that one:
Reiser: I ran this by John Paterek, and here is his input: "I would dare say to use only Color Plus Surflex on the leather. It will not affect the plastic dash the leather is glued to. John"

You have full leather but you haven't specified if you have the natural leather or not....
From the research that I did here and on several other boards, Sonus is an excellent product for cleaning and conditioning the leather in your Porsche. However Sonus was formulated for "coated" leather and isn't necessarily the best choice if you have natural leather. My research led me to Leatherique for my natural leather and the results so far have been excellent.
Good luck.
