+1 though I personally like the "911" sold by Eric at BumperPlugs

I think it would look good with the badge back on. Consider painting the badge the same color as the exterior like others have mentioned. The bottom line-do what you like the best, this stuff gets real subjective

It doesn't mean anything. I just made it up this morning. With a plate like that you are bound to get a few people that will ask you what it means. Makeup whatever cryptic response you like.

Me, I'm too cheap to pay for a vanity plate (unfortunately, my cheapness has not rubbed off on my wife).

Love it! Clean lines, stealthy, and hella easier to wax.

i like it both ways...what does that mean??? LOL It looks clean with your white. I also like the badge with he red S Eric at Bumper Plugs sells.

I wonder how a Porsche emblem like on the hood would look on the back? Maybe not so good.

Years ago when you ordered "emblem delete" it also deleted the front Porsche crest.

On a related note I'm going to remove the polo pony from my Ralph Lauren shirts.

My new TT came with the badge painted Basalt (color of car) and I like the subdued look. But I think I would prefer to have a badge versus no badge.

Good luck with that. If it was a sticker like what's on the back of our cars it'd be a piece of cake. But that logo is embroidered on there and it ain't ever coming off.

On a related note to the related note, I avoid buying clothing that has the company logo emblazoned on it for no other purpose than to promote the brand, like shirts with the Nike swoosh across the front. You're effectively paying for the privilege of advertising for someone else for free. I refuse to do that without compensation. These companies should either heavily discount these articles of clothing or give them away for free in return for the free advertising you do for them. But for me, they'll need to pay me to advertise for them. That's why I refuse to buy Ralph Lauren shirts or Lacoste shirts when they were popular or any other articles of clothing with the company's name visibly displayed in front. I prefer the subtle look that has the company name only on the hidden inside tag.

That's how I roll.

I've ordered my Porsches without the cheap plastic "Hey look at what model I'm driving" lettering. All it is is a trap for wax, leaves, bugs, and as you discovered, the lettering is very easy to rip off with a drying towel. You just saved about 4 ounces of weight off the rear and also increased the aerodynamic efficiency of the car.

Personally, I think it's a bit silly to take off the emblem, and then have a vanity plate to name the car model. But that's me. To each his own.
