My guess is that there's a correlation between the number of cars you sell and your hostility. Without Porsche stepping up with great incentives real soon, I predict a Rennlist ban within 10 days.

Though the thread doesn't pertain to me I'm having fun. I haven't been called a dickwad since I was 10. I'd resort to similar name calling but I fear a "I know you are, but what am I" response would follow.

Isn't there a schoolmarm.com you can work out your issues on instead?

I guess 1.9 or 2.9 or whatever it is is good if you are financing. They had 3.9 when I was in there, but then no big discounts if I took that ratre. Worked out better to take the 10% and buy the car. I know that's not always an option for some and even then may not be the best option - an Excel spreadsheet is a big help to sort it out.
Also always a good idea to line up you own financing ahead of time. Bank America was giving me 4.34% and I was able to use that to get a matched rate from Porsche and keep the discounts. They acted reluctant, but captulated when they saw I was really going to go for the BOA loan if I decided to finance it and that's really a pebble's toss from 3.9 anyway.
Sure there will be deals on cars for a bit - any '09s (and I even saw some new '08s around at dealers WEB sites) left when '10s hit will probably be marked down. The problem is selection is getting really slim - I looked over 9 states (and everything from C2, C2S, and Cabrios) and had a tough time finding the options I wanted and am still having to get the dealer to "mod" a few things onto it after the fact. That problem will only get worse, so if you are not too particular about color, body style, or options, then maybe a wait it out works.

I clicked on thread because I'm interested in PFS incentives. But, as a long time lurker and occasional poster, I've got to say that the petty responses have significantly degraded the value of this forum. Try to rise above it, OK? dave

Dave this forum is like Transformers, more then meets the eye.
My shot at that OP wasn't an unsolicited one. Just click his name and you'll his history.
But as I now see people are only taking it for face value, I'm going to edit it. I know you mean no harm Dave. thanks.

God, I need to find some of those seat covers. Got a part number and a source?
