Is this a Good Deal on '08 Cab?
Sorry for the lack of details on options, but I need to move quick.
Looking at a leftover '08 Cab, manual trans, 5-spoke wheels.
Sticker is $90K. Dealer is offering $73K.
Was told holdback is $1,200 and there is $4,000 Porsche dealer cash.
* Dealer has 2 leftover '08 cabs with almost identical options. I was thinking a truly great deal would be under $70 considering they have 2 cars that will soon be two model years old and of course the economy.
Don't have time to do research and need feedback.
TIA

Options options options. $90K is what I would consider a stripped car,--virtually no options. If you're simply a driving enthusiast with no need for the comfort, quality things (e.g., navigation, leather, dimming mirrors, adaptive seats, etc.) then maybe that's the car for you. Having been there, and done that over the decades, I would not just settle to get into an 08 Cabriolet. Many of the additional expense items on these cars make them significantly nicer cars. But then, that's just me. Don't think that you 'need to move quick.' If you do, then you may appear too eager and they have you. There are significant numbers of 08s out there waiting for buyers. These cars can be shipped across the country if you like. Don't believe for a moment that there are only a couple of cars at that price.
