Default Forgot My Questions...

For my C2S with PDK in Launch Control Mode, the factory states 4.1s, 0 to 60 but does anyone know what it really does and ditto for the quarter mile? I have always found Porsche to be conservative with these numbers compared with other auto manufacturers.

Next, planning on putting a clear bra on the car...What do you guys recommend...on just the bumpers and mirrors or the entire hood. I know its subjective but curious to what you guys think.

Lastly...for radars now, what do you find the best out there? Had a k40 on my 996 and a Passport on my 02 AMG. What is the best now out there?

Thanks in advance. Happy 4th!

These cars aren't really suited for running 0-60 times, much less quarter mile.

The clear bra,--some swear by them, and others swear at them after they've had them. Color of your car can make a difference.

Valentine 1,--works really well. Buy one,--and then use this install: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...tallation.html

Clear bra: After reading the threads and thinking about my 996 experience, I decided on the full front quarter so no seams show and I mitigate risk of uneven fading on a panel if the film doesn't work as advertised. I used Premier Mobile Group in Fremont - they are a Rennlist sponsor and have gotten good reviews. They took a full day and had me come back a month later for a second sealant application. So far so good. I live near Los Altos and would be happy to meet up if you want to see a sample.

A 997 certainly isn't a dragster, but it still manages to out-accelerate a number of cars that make over 500 hp.

I suppose it would be interesting to watch a 997.2 S with PDK in a straight race with anything else. With that tranny, it would be hard for anyone with a 6-speed to stay anywhere near it.
