Same here - used to be ultra-crappy econoboxes. I know they have a couple of Porsches as loaners (base Cayennes), but I've never seen a Cayman S w/Tubi as a loaner...

We don't even get a copy of the BUS SCHEDULE at this dealership. They cut back from even dropping you off at your house. Never did provide loaner anythings. Santa Barbara Auto Group.

Len Stoler-A6 and Cayenne S (I think they have since stopped this)
Tyson's- A3 Enterprise crap when A3's are all gone
Tischer-Enterprise crap

I don't really mind the rentals but it's a long process to get one and they are always FILTHY. I mean, go home and clean the windows and console myself filthy!
By far the best service is at Tischer and I would rather have a filthy rental than a clean Cayenne if they can't do the job correctly.

I don't know if I was just lucky, but twice I went in for warranty service, and twice I got a Porsche loaner from IRA Porsche of Danvers. Once was a Cayenne, and once was a Cayman. I had each for about a week. (Had a very weird issue that even had Porsche N.A. stumped.) I thought it was brilliant, because it made me want a Cayman/Boxster and a Cayenne to round out my stable.

I'm always happy to get ANY loaner, even if it's a Hertz special. It sure beats rides from a "courtesy van."

Actually, Ira Porsche may be in Peabody, MA. Not exactly sure where the city lines are on Route 114.

jjv - The last time I had service at Ira they gave me a Cayenne loaner.
Today the pig is having a trailer hitch installed at Westwood and I got an Accord.
Sure, I'd love to bomb around in a Cayman when one of the toys is in the shop but honestly it doesn't matter to me (as long as the car they give me does not stink like smoke).

Woodhouse Porsche--Omaha--always a Porsche. Typically a new Cayman.

Excellent service, sales, and parts department.

Pacific Porsche I have gotten Boxsters, Cayenne, Cayenne S. Every once in a while an Enterprise car, no big deal.

Gaudin Porsche always a Jaguar from the Hertz onsite.

Has anyone here been refused (or offered) a loaner if the car wasn't purchased at the servicing dealer?

All 3 Porsche dealers in the Dallas/ Ft. worth market give Cayman/Boxster/Cayenne loaners when I've been in. Boardwalk is the worst dealer of all of them - low class operation if you ask me - really gone down hill.

I've never received a porsche loaner from Town Motors Porsche in Englewood, NJ. I've always received that small Lincoln SUV. Not sure why a 911 owner would ever want to drive an SUV but they seem to think it works out. It's not a bad car but it's no Porsche.

I got lucky this time. I got a loaner thru Rusnak Pasadena, yeah, Rusnak!! It's a warranty service call so they gave me a loaner. Rusnak have an onsite Enterprise rental. I have my pick, An Audi tt, A4, cayman, cayenne S . Took the Cayenne and my wife drove it to Vegas for the girls weekend outing. I think the trick is the service must be under warranty so they can billed PONA for it, $95 a day. It help to catch it on the weekend so incase they don't have the parts, it will drag the service duration.

LOL, the truth is I'm trying to justify paying a $2000 service bill. Getting a rental car out of it soften it up.
