Question Does your Porsche dealer give out Porsche loaners?

Had 2 997's now and never a Porsche loaner from my local dealer (Bert Smith Porsche), kind of upsetting because you spend all this money on a car and then they put you into a VW jetta, from my understanding when i bought the car new i was told i had the roadside assistance for any problems, free lockout service, free tow to porsche dealer if warranty work to be done, and in the spiel they also noted that i would get a porsche loaner on all warranty work and possible for scheduled maintenance and here i am, never have stepped foot in the so called "porsche loaner"

its not a big deal, because we all have driven cayman's, boxters, and cayenne's... but i just feel a little crappy stepping from my 997 into a jetta for half a day and being bored to death with driving..

so im asking, does your personal dealer give out porsche loaners for warranty and service work? if so, post in the poll but also post saying who to give them some praise for doing the right thing..

i spoke to my dealer about the "promise" in the pamphlet on buying a new car and getting porsche loaner and they say "eh, we can give out 4x as many VW's so thats what we do"

Scottsdale, AZ is YES but only in atypical cases. Once they screwed up in giving me an estimate on how long it would take for my car maintenance and I sat there for much of the afternoon. They gave me a Cayenne to take home.

The norm is that they give you a Hertz rental and you just pay the taxes, which is usually around $8 or so.

In recent years, of the three local dealers I've used from time to time, all provide a Boxster or Cayenne.

Never got anything...not a single damn loaner.

I guess it depends how much money is spent at the particular dealer? I dont know but I had to get my bumper redone of which was i think a 2 or 3 days process and I had to hitch a ride with my wife.

P-Car loaners for a select few at Porsche of Tysons. Most recently had a Cayman S with a 6spd and Tubi exhaust...

No at Herb Chambers Porsche in Boston (I was given a Hyundai from Enterprise) and Porsche of Burlington (Audi TT and an Audi A4). Yes, I've had a ridiculous amount of service in the short 6 months I've had my car.

Supposedly Herb Chambers in Boston has a couple of Cayennes but they were not available. Burlington has yet to invest in a Porsche loaner.

Got an Audi A-6 from New Country Porsche in CT. Not only do I prefer my 997 S to it, I also prefer my 10 yr old MB to it. Still, it's a nice loaner.

Ford Focus from Porsche of Buffalo NY. The sale manager refused to give me a loaner because I didn't buy the car from them but the service manager insisted I get a car to go home, 50 miles away. As far as I know they have no Porsche loaner. A lot of people I spoke to stated the manager is a douche bag. Now I only wish my Buffalo Mercedes dealer would purchase Porsche dealer(they told me Porsche dealer asking price was a bit too high for a low volume dealer) then we will get first class amenity and service.
