Does anyone know if SPASM could be a dealer installed option on a car that was orginally equipped with PASM?

Good question. You'd think the shocks, springs, and sways could be swapped, but then what about the "logic" in the computer that actually controls dampening rate. Maybe in a 2009 with the updated PASM system?

I love my Sport PASM...I would not have the car any other way. It's a sports car but still very compliant in normal mode. Pefect suspension for DE use.

Adding to the question...does anybody know if the Limited differential can be added if the car did not have it as OEM?

![]() SPASM also includes an LSD. It seems odd that this couldn't be done as it is only a $950 option on an '09 S. Go figure.

When they are assembling the cars I bet they have to either pull from 1 parts bin or another. One has the logic for SPASM along with different shocks, springs, sways, etc. At initial build, everything but the LSD is probably the same price (shocks, springs, sways, logic), so the factory probably doesn't care which they give you, you just have to decide at order time. Would explain why SPASM is $950 and LSD alone is $950, yet with SPASM you get LSD.
