Another congrats and another sorry about losing the E39! I had a 2003 540i 6-speed and still think about how amazing that car was. Enjoy the 911!

To the OP: Welcome! I'd also be interested in your compare/contrast of your M5. I have a 2000 540i 6-speed that I continue to enjoy, although I've always thought about the E39 M5s.
