For the worriers, I live out in the country so no animals or bushes were harmed during my stunts.

I made it up all the hills and around all the corners. Sure, it was slick and I could feel the traction control working but the 997 didn't come to a stop like my Jag does when the brakes are applied to the spinning wheel. I held some pretty decent drifts and stayed out of the ditches.

As far as snow driving philosophy goes, I always remember the quote attributed to AJ Foyt: "When in doubt, floor it. It might not solve the problem, but it'll damn sure end the suspense."

I better watch out for you when I am running my errands in CR with my C4S with my Snowsports

In Chicago and snow on the way. The Turbo with snows was great but I made the mistake of getting rid of it. Just ordered a C4S as my winter DD and can hardly wait to get a Porsche back in the stable. A total blast in the snow.

Happens any other week in our parts. So what?

Pure clean snow is OK for any car. Salt porridge on the roads is the killer.

I had to drive my car to dealership for maintenance after one of such storm when snow was not plowed yet mostly and it was perfectly fine on PA2 tires. Grip was very good, much better than on my lexus with all-season yoko tires.

Too too much. Incredible!

More incredulity: Remember this guy cleaning snow off his car with a dust pan?

Poor b*stard! If he lives in Pittsburgh I sure hope he was able to sleep thru it.

OMG! That was hilarious! The cat at the end was a nice touch. To f'ing funny, thanks! Although the teeth close-up did make me want to throw up a bit in my mouth. Serious yuck-mouth.
