Hi All,

I just moved to Chicago for work and was wondering where everyone brought their car for a good detail service or a quick car wash. Does anyone have any suggestions around the Chicago Metro area?

Where in the chicago area? There's a bunch of places depending on where you're at.

I am in the River North area. My office is in Naperville but I am there maybe once every two weeks at most.

Wash your car by hand.

As for a full service detail service, I have heard good things about The Last Detail up in the northshore area.

Trust me, I'd love to but city living doesn't make that easy or practical.

I used to bring my car to We Wash Too and that's close to River North area.

There's a hand wash place on Van Buren just east of Racine that's been recommended to me by a non-Porsche owner. I've never been there, but I've driven by it several times getting on the Eisenhower there at Racine, it looks respectable. I can't vouch for it, but given where you are, it might be worth checking out.
