Default Post break-in oil change

My car has about 2600 miles and I decided to do a post break-in oil change. I took it to my dealer - Porsche of Fremont - to do the oil change and inspect the car. All is well and a great price.

Gunter at Porsche Of Frement is a good guy.

I always have my Porsche cars serviced by him, even I have other dealers closer to my home.

With best regards,

Doing a post break-in change is cheap insurance. I did my own at 2100 miles. Love the top accesss filter on the 997.2.

Did you have your dealer check your alignment? During break-in from I've read there is enough settling of the car to justify an adjustment to the wheel alignment. Also how much oil if any did you burn during break-in?

My alignment was fine. My DFI engine burns no oil.

I did my own at 2500 miles. I think it is a wise investment.
Tomorrow the car goes to the dealer since it is time for its annual service, I have owned it just short of one year.

I will be curious what an annual service without oil change costs. I plan on changing it again myself in about 3 months and keeping on a 9 month schedule.

Tony---drive it more! I think I'm averaging about 12,000 a year. I am shooting for it to turn over 50,000 when the 4 year anniversary hits.
