recommended indie mechanics in Maryland
anyone have any indie mechanic recommendations in MD. Preferrably between Rockville and Frederick on or near the 270 corridor?

Stuttgart Performance Engineering (Matt DeMaria) is an outstanding shop, but a bit small. He only takes work by appointment in order to deal with the limited space. But he's service racers, restorations, you name it. Specializes in Porsches, and been doing for about 40 years. Located in Old Town Gaithersburg.

thanks everybody! I had no idea there were any, much less 3 within a reasonable distance. I certainly hope they can charge less than $215 for an oil change like the nearest Dealer does!
I'll do most of the regular maintenance myself, but when my CPO runs out, I wanted to have a few shops on hand for any issues that pop up. And to do some of the harder and messier jobs. Brakes, Clutch, etc.

$215 isn't bad
Parts (oil, filter, gasket) will run @ $90
Sounds like they are charging you for 1 hour of labor.
Some of the people have paid $600 for an oil change.
or
DIY for $90

I'm headed in the DIY direction. I've already sourced the tools and filters, replacement plug (Mine is loose in the hex like it was over torqued) and washers.
Does anybody know if being under CPO requires a dealer to do standard maintenance? Basically does CPO get voided for doing my own maintenance?

At Speed Motorsports is good but a little out of the way for you (near Arundel Mills Mall). Their annual open house is coming up on Oct 16.

Matt is great. If he doesn't work out I would check out TPC (Mike Levitas). If you can't get there I would go to McLean, Virginia- Intersport. Charlie Murphy is reknown and the crew at Intersport are wonderful. All three are well known and respected and contribute greatly to local club. I live in Rockville and go to Charlie- I started with him and stayed loyal- even though getting there is sometimes a PITA.
If you want to PM me I will name a few to avoid- one is listed here already. I also have a friend who is a BMW mechanic but Porsche owner who you might be interested in.

But I was trying to stick within the OP's delineated area. I agree that getting to Intersport can sometimes be a PIA.
