Default Will Carrera Sports from C4S fit a C2S?

the rear wheels have 305s. Are the offsets different for the C4S vs. the C2S?

Thanks!

The offsets are different. They'll stick out to much. If i crecall correctly, it would be like adding 15mm spacers (roughly). I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can confirm or deny.

Hmm...I thought it was the opposite, ie if you had a widebody you needed spacers for the right fit.

Def appreciate if someone can confirm or deny!

If the wheels are Carrera Sport (not Sport Design) then yes they will fit. The rears have a narrow body offset (67mm) and Porsche gets them to fit on the widebody C4 by using 17mm spacers. If you look to either side of the valve stem you'll see the rim width and offset stamped on the rim. Should see 11.5 and 67. The fronts will be 8.5 and 55.

On all of the OEM wide body cars (C4/C4S, Targa 4/4S, Turbo, GT3 RS, GT2), the rear wheels have a different offset than the narrow body rear wheels. In most cases, the wide body rear wheels have 15mm less offset than the narrow body wheels. Consequently, the wide body wheel will be at or outside the fender on a narrow body car.

Up until 2008, Porsche stamped the wheel width and offset (in mm) on the outside of the wheel on either side of the valve stem. Beginning in 2009, they discontinued doing that so that offset information is not as readily available as it used to be.

As jhbrennan stated above, IF the offset is 67mm, then they will fit on your C2S.

jhbrennan is exactly right. The Carrera Sports have a narrow body offset of 67mm for the rears. They will fit on a narrow body car as is. On a wide body car the rears would need the 17mm spacer. The fronts are 55mm and fit on either car as is.

This was only the case for 05-early 07 cars. After that Porsche started widebody offsets on Carrera Sports. The OP should just look at the offset to see if it fits.
