I believe that it is.

The display stand next to the Grey Targa said the color's name was "Grey Black."
It's stunning, and reminiscent of a 1960 356 color called Slate Grey.
Probably best described as creme grey; it's not metallic. Note the matching Carrera Sport wheels.

Dan: The GT2RS next to the Targa was Silver (not certain which one), not the same color as the Grey Black Targa.
The GT car has a carbon fiber hood, which is darker. The GT3RS, which was at last year's show (grey & red) is the same Grey as the Targa, I think.

Default Very cool pictures!

Thanks. It's a shame that they teased us with the European rear bumpers that look so nice and smooth compared to our US versions with the warts on back... I really love that white GTS!

Apparently the "color to sample" option is getting ticked more frequently these days with colors from the early years. A Chinese buyer just ordered a 997.2 in early "Strawberry Red", which is just a gorgeous color, and there is apparently interest in Sahara Biege, Fjord Green, and Stone Grey, just to name a few.

It's nice to see some color making a comeback. Porsche does a beautiful job in their paintshop. It's unfortunate that more don't take advantage of the possibilities. (They didn't have the stands up on Wednesday night so much of that information wasn't available to us--I had to go digging into fuel filler flaps to find the number for the grey). (John--they were referring to the GT3RS of last year--same color, not this year's GT2RS).

Yeah, I finally figured that out.
I think a Stone Grey Boxster Spyder would be a knockout!

excellent album, thanks for sharing.
The GT2 is the first car I have seen with center lock wheels with the center nut painted black rather than silver. I think that looks much better than a black wheel with a silver center!! Will save it for reference... That should be one mod that you should keep in mind, since your wheels are black too.

that slate color looks interesting. Seen something similar on a f430 and a vette and it looked good.
