This is my only car (though i've a few motos). I use it for everything. Check out the ladder and xmas tree on the roof rack.
Wow, can you take the roof rack off and put it back on pretty easily?

Yeah, the roof rack comes on and off in about 10 mins once you get the hang of it. There are 8 bolts to drive, 4 on the "cleats" that mount to the car and 4 on the racks which mount to the cleats.

I'm glad i bought the rack because I do end up buying wierd odds and ends from time to time (next up stairwell railings). I had told myself that I'd be open to renting the home depot truck ($25/hr) if i needed it but the roof rack is easier in most cases.

The only thing I miss about my old 5 series BMW is the rear seating when we have guests in town that want to see the local sights. Now everyone is relegated to riding the subway. But hey that 5 series is a dog in every other respect (though I would've kept it if I had the garage space).

Bought w/21K in Jan '09, just turned 30K, and it is my DD, just that my daily drive isn't very far. Glad to read so many other with MY05 have a lot more miles than mine and are still ticking (i.e. no boom )

Bought '09 C2S last Christmas with 4miles on the odometer. First purchase was OZ rims and michelin snow tires and installed 2 child seats in the back. Now has 4900 miles and is driven every day, rain, snow or shine. And I live in Michigan!

No reason not to drive!

With 77K miles, how many/what type of problems have you had? What year is yours?

2006 C2S - only major repair has been the clutch around 55K (used opportunity to install LSD+LWFW)

Lotsa tires, oil changes, etc.. ..most $$$ spent on maintenance (and many mods)

This weekend in MN I found the limit of snow depth for my C4S, left it parked at the Hospital and stayed at work an extra day when the Busses stopped running... I guess as long as the roads are plowed I can drive it every day, but wghen we get 2 feet of snow, it will have to stay parked.

'09 C2S delivered new January of 2009 now with almost 19K on it
2010 Cayman delivered new late January 2010 with 8800 miles now on it. Porsches are made to be driven. I also have a pick-up and track prepared early 911 so they are also in the driving mix.
