has anybody had any flat spot issues with these tires? I'm going out of town for a week, so the car will be sitting for a while. I was wondering what to expect when I drive the car for the first time afterwards.

One week should be no issue. If you're worried, just inflate them to 45 psi...but you shouldn't need to.

A lot of people have said they are quieter than ps2's. Can anyone comment on road noise vs. other tires? Bridgestones? Pirellis?

I was out of town for two weeks, with no noticeable flat spotting . I now have over 1K miles on the tires and they stick, less road noise. Very, very pleased. Only thing left is to see what mileage I get on the rears, since they have a mileage warranty of 15K, I should get that at a minimum

thanks for the feedback!

and yes, I'm interested to see the wear on the rears (although my last set of PS2's had 16k and the rears were just at the wear bars, though there were lots of interstate miles on that set)

If wear is good these can really be a great buy....I have one track day and now about 300 miles on them...really liking them so far.

Not n rated but that doesn't matter. I track and auto x on tires for years that ate not n rated. My street tires for a year on both my Carrera and Cayenne are not n rated.

I've been told by TireRack that current plans are to N rate the PSS for the new 991. As of a month ago, when I bought my set, nobody seems to know when or if Michelin will N rate them for the 997.

I have to say - I've had N rated PS2s, PZero (N2's) and RE050A tires on my last couple of 911's. The PSS's I presently have handle as well or better than any of them.

I used to worry (a little) about whether a tire was N rated. No more. These are great. I have one track day so far and I'm interested to see if the mileage is really going to be that much better than the PS2's.

Well said. Personally I'd take these non-N Rated Michellen Super Sports over my N1 rated Pirelli's they replaced any day! And once the Super Sports get that N designation you can expect the price to jump significantly. I paid $1459 (before the $70 rebate) delivered for the tires, a relative bargain compared with the N-rated PS2's.

Many thanks for the info - much appreciated..

Anyone know if using non N-rated tyres voids a warranty?
