Default Sad Day, R.I.P. 997.2

found out the other day that my 997.2 that i sold in november was totaled recently (3.23.11)

sad day, i really loved that car and looking back, the exige+cayenne are fun but the 997.2 was the perfect mix of Sports car/Daily driver.

That's sad when you really got to know a car. I hope it was the other guy's fault, and the driver was safely protected.

Yeah that is sad. I often wonder what happened to my C2S Cab, but your post is a good reminder that maybe I am happier not knowing.

How in the hell did you find that out? Wow? Can't imagine how you must feel. I just sold my e92 M3 and bought an Audi A7 and wonder a bit what happened to it. Did you know the new owner and find out that way?

some guy emailed me to buy car and said it said that on my carfax link, cool thing is once you buy a carfax the link works forever for free... so if you ever sold a car that you once carfaxed you could see the history...

Wow, that was a sharp .2; sad to hear it met an early demise.

I hope the driver is ok... but some ppl do not deserve to be a 911 driver! I think there should be a restricted driving license if you wanna drive a sports car! I've seen so many fools driving cars with 350+ HP around.

Ouch. I feel bad. Did you know the owner Riley ? Wow how can you get rid of such a nice car ? I have no question in my mind that it is only a matter of time before you get into another 911
