2010 C2 price check
I put down a deposit on a 2010 C2 manual (equipped very close to my desires) with 6k miles, in service since Sept 2010. This is at a BMW dealer, so no CPO, but I got a very good trade value (better by $7k+ than other dealers offered when I had tried other 997 deals before) for my still quite new BMW.
The orig. sticker on the C2 was $89.6k and my price is $68k less my trade. I have a feeling it's on the border of reasonable, but not an outstanding deal. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, buckwheat. I have been in and out of 997s a couple times already (long story...). I miss having one and want to get back into driving a Carrera. As it is discussed in another post, I've been also contemplating whether to get a deal on a slightly used 997.2 or keep driving my BMW and get the 991 when it's eventually available. However, knowing myself, I won't want to pay the full MSRP for the 991, so I would likely want to wait for any incentives or a CPO car, which would take a while since 991's introduction. Currently, in this deal I'm able to take a minimal loss on the BMW. So, perhaps this trade makes sense....

I would wait on the 991for a couple of years.
997.2 is a great car and IMO it's a good deal... especially with a good trade in. BMW is neat...but porsche is special. Welcome back.

Good move imho.
I would have quickly paid that for a car with 6k miles.
Definitely adds weight to my debate with friends on "why you should buy a used car"
1 year old car with minimal miles for 30% off? Deal.

Thanks, guys. I picked up the car today. I felt good about my decision right when I started driving home from the dealership. The car feels awesome. I will try to post some pics within a few days.
