Default I was going to have her review my 997S

but my Etype was more appropriate, being a '68.

I've had my 997S since Dec. Do those of you with children use car seats in the rear buckets? I've tried boosters and they don't really fit. Is there an issue with letting my older daughters (both about 50lbs) sit in the back w/out a car seat?

Reminds me a bit of those child beauty pagents like those portrayed in the movie "Little Miss Sunshine".

my son is 5yr old, 50lbs. drives there since he was 2. recaro vivo fits fine, now I removed its backrest so it became a booster. Also removed seat base (but kept seat backrest) and he fits fine.

my 4.5 year old girls fit fine in Recaro Vivos as well. I removed the seat cushions and backs.

As of may 2011, per IIHS, here are the various STATE rules about children and car seats:

http://www.iihs.org/laws/mapchildres...uirements.aspx

Some states (like Florida) are liberal and others seem to want a child bubblewrapped till they are teenagers.

I have my 5 year old in a Recaro ProBOOSTER. It fits perfecly even with the seat backs removed (to give him more leg room).

My 3 year old is in a britax roundabout with the bottom removed (bottom of the car seat and the bottom and back of the pcar).
