Me three, but I thought "Mouse pad? Seriously?" Not much use for one in a world increasingly accessed via trackpads and touchpads.

Of course, it's of a piece for Porsche. Well done, but never cutting edge.

Well... I wasn't expecting a Droid in that envelope.

Droid? Psshhht. I bet the 2011 Porsche Lifestyle Catalog has a private label Startac for only $450.

I just got mine today...took longer than I thought.
The letter got me thinking about the trade statement in the letter. I wonder if there is an extra dealer incentive if there is a Porsche trade in on a new Porsche. I know that right now Ford has an extra incentive if there is a trade in, I wonder if Porsche is doing the same thing?
I know it is hard to get this info out of the dealers, but I now wonder if I missed out on something....

I just got mine today, and I thought it was silly that it said something like -
as a participant in this special program, you can expect:
- 3.8L engine with 385 HP or 3.6 w/355
- selection of special models like Black, GTS, etc
- blah, blah, blah

but all of those things would be available to anybody walking into the dealership.

+1 on the vagueness.

I think this one missed the mark...

Yeah, got mine last week and was kinda nonplussed by it as well. Seems that specifics are the enemies of salesmen when it comes to big ticket items.

Just got mine Saturday... I thought I was missing out or they forgot about me... my wife chuckled when I told her what I got from Porsche.

I find it somewhat fitting that Porsche is so famous for being the last to introduce modern electronic conveniences, and then they send a mousepad which has been obsolete ever since the optical mouse came out about 7 years ago. Unless you are still using one of those old roller mice then a mouse pad is just clutter on your desk. All that said, I'm feeling left out since Porsche must have taken me off their list!

Similar to many here, I kind of chuckled at getting a mouse pad from Porsche. I wouldn't imagine the average Porsche owner is still using a mouse with a rollerball on it. My letter was about trading in mine and getting "exceptional" trade-in value. Mouse pad featured the black edition models.

I got mine over the weekend. Mail must be slower on the South Carolina coast. I guess it's our laidback lifestyle!

And boy does that mouse pad put off some noxious fumes. Whew.

I don't use a mouse pad these days... not sure I'll keep that vapor-producer.

Got mine today. Blue. I use an optical mouse so it's not very useful, but it did make me feel important!
