But do appreciate the mouse pad!
Rob- If I were them, I'd send you one every day!

Received the mouse pad too.

Other than a nice "lets make a deal" letter, are there aggressive programs and trunk money to make the sell off of the 997s very attractive?

I got one also, and have the same question about trunk money, or aggressive deals on remaining 997 cars. I would not be interested in trading my 2008 997S unless there were some very strong incentives. Might as well wait on the new model unless dealers are willing to cut some great deals.

I just go mine a few days ago. I cannot imagine, though, getting a better deal on a 2011 than I got on my 2008S. Maybe the dealers need some used cars. They can make more money on used models and offer lower priced cars whe n tne the new ones come in at higher prices. I imagine that imported cars will begin to get more and more expensive.

Just got my mouse pad today (mis-delivered to my neighbor, might've taken a few days to get handed to me this AM while washing my car).

Letter offers an early-out of my lease, waiving 12 months of my remaining term along with any termination fee. Return the lease car, and lease or finance (with PFS) a new 2011 or 2012 911, Boxster, or Cayman before 30 September 2011.

Reasonable terms in the small print.

My problem is that my wife and I aren't loving the car on long-ish trips, and are pretty adamant about moving into a more GT-like experience. I'm not getting to enjoy the car enough as a motorsport device, so I'm treating it like a race-car for the street. Not the best behavior...

So, it's an amazing and beautiful car, but maybe not a long-term affair.

Cheers!
Marc
