Default WTB: 2007 911 s

Hi All,
Looking to pick up my first Porsche and have my mind set on getting a 2007 911s. I've been going through the usual list of sites; autotrader, cars.com, ebay etc., but wanted to leverage this forum for any help I could get in finding my own 911s. I do notice prices are higher right now, so waiting a month or more to find the right car at the right price is a non issue. The right price range for me is $45k - $48k US....is that unrealistic given what I'm looking for??
My ask comes based on a recent member post for a Yellow 2008 coming off lease at a great price and was hoping there may be an even better value in a 2007s that fits my bill.

Quick background:
Have been a huge fan of the 911 since I first sat in one at 16.
Turning 39 this year and feel the time is right realize a personal dream.
This would be a third vehicle as I have a Jetta as my DD.

My wish list would include:
Sport Adadptive Seats
Sport Steering Wheel
PASM
Manual
Sport Chrono
Color - Black, grey, white preferred but not too fussy overall. Not a yellow fan.
Mileage preference <50000miles

Nice to have's:
Full leather

I would be bringing the car back to Canada so shipping may be necessary depending on where the seller is located.
Again, any help I can get from this forum would be much appreciated as I have this timeless itch for a Porsche 911 - don't think I need to explain how that goes.

Thank you!!

Default 997 budget

Would like to spend $48,000 US on the high side.
I'd have to pay for duty, state tax etc plus potential transportation and customs/brokerage fees on top of the $48, but it usually turns out to be cost effective versus buying in Canada.

Mine is available for $46k with two extra sets of wheels (one has winter tires on them and TPMS), plus some other spare stuff, or $45k as it sits (OBO of course). Some plusses and minuses to what you're looking for we can review if seriously interested. I haven't listed it since I really don't want to sell even though I know I should.

Weirdly, the car is known to a couple of Porsche nuts in Toronto so could provide a reference if needed.

Also you might bop down to P2O next weekend as it is likely there will be some cars for sale there.

A quick autotrader search for 2007 for max $48K yields 11 results, one 'S' model sold, you have 10 results, 9 base models and 1 'S' model.

For $48k, you are looking at a base 2007 911.

I did browse through the latest Excellence mag yesterday and thought my range was reasonable for the "s" model. They do state a premium applies to very clean examples which I acknowledge.
One more item on my wish list is the manual option - my DD is tiptronic already so having a good old fashioned 6 speed is a must.

Default Obsession over this is distracting - Need help

Since my budget is in base 911 territory for a 2007, how much more would I have to bump up to get a good example s model?
Is this a $5000 gap to get me into a S model?

$53 will get you a high mileage 07 without CPO, what is wrong with the 06'? They are the same and you can get 06's for mid 50's. Prices on used 911 is a bit high right now, you can wait until the 991 comes out or wait after summer to see if they price drop, I highly doubt it will get any higher than it is right now.

Good advice. Wait it out a bit...these prices only have one direction to go...
