Default 2006 Carrera S for sale Lowered price = $44,000

I started this post a couple weeks ago but after someone decided to post his car on my thread for sale, I have decided to start a new one. If you have a car for sale, please do not post it on my thread start your own.

I want to take a different direction with my fun car so I am looking to sell my car. It is a 2006 Carrera S 6-speed with 42k miles on it. The exterior is black and the interior is the tone tone black over terracotta. Both driver and passenger seats are power and heated. It has the 19" sport design wheels on it, the upgraded Bose sound system, sport exhaust and Xenon headlights. The front brake rotors, pads and fluid were all done last summer. This was purely a fun car to me, so it never saw winter or even bad weather for that matter. The car is extremely clean inside and out. If you have any more questions about the car, you can get ahold of me by posting on here or sending me a PM. I am asking $44,000 on here.

why is it that 3 of every 5 997S that come up for sale are black? Had a black 996 and loved it but hated cleaning it

looks nice - glws!

Weird you say that because I have had a couple people email saying if it was any other color they would have bought it. I like black and clean/polished it looks amazing.

I think your pricing is very attractive. I'm shocked no one has bought this car at that price.

Ok, so I am not the only one thinking this... I was wondering because I looked around at what other 997 S are going for and I thought mine is right in the range.

I am one of them that is not a fan of black cars. My wife's car is black (first black car in our garage EVER). I told her if that was the color she wanted, she should go for it, but I wasn't messing with it, a.k.a. washing, waxing, etc.

Your Black/Terracotta interior is great looking, but I think in appeals to a a relatively small percent of potential buyers.

Those are the only two reasons I can think of as to why it hasn't sold yet.

Beautiful car, Mike. I'd buy it myself but we already bought one about 20 months ago. Someone is going to love that car.

Black has never been my 1st choice, but this car is an easy sell in my books. I probably posted in your last thread too. Love the interior, and those are my choice of rims for the 997.

I have my eyes open for a used 997, but I will be waiting to next year (I want to buy cash). If this was 2012 my finger would be on a hair trigger.

I've been watching your listing and I am too, shocked that the car is still available. I picked up a 06 from a member here in May, and while I paid a bit less, the car had more miles (but in exchange, X51). Perhaps the terracotta is a little polarizing, but personally I love it.

GLWS. Drop it to $42-43 and it will be gone, likety-split, I am sure.
