Washed it, graphite detail , Installed a Mr 12 Volt ... Covered it until spring Changed the oil in the Cayenne and new snow tires for winter .

Yep ..I don't get jazzed about colors often but that color is stunning.

I’ve had my 2011 GTS Cab (PDK) for about 3 months now, I did the oil & filter just after I got the car home.
This weekend I installed the Cobb AccessPort ECU tune (Stage 1, 93 oct.) and PDK tune. This morning I installed the DSC Sport PASM controller.

Test drove it about 25 miles alter the Cobb ECU tune/PDK, very pleased. Have not driven it since the DSC install yet.

Also gave it a through vacuum and leather wipe down.

Aqua Blue w/ Black top & interior. Pictures soon.

I went for a quick spin, rolled over 25000 miles and added a pepita manual shift boot to hide the ugly tiptronic console trim. Can't have too much pepita! 😎

I swapped the PO's Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX headunit (c. 2017) for a new Sony XAV-9000ES. Benefits are 1) wireless CarPlay, 2) Sony Mobile ES audio quality, 3) higher screen resolution, and 4) much simpler, less cheesy GUI. Playback quality, even in a noisy cabin like the 997.2, is noticeably improved.

This is the moment I finally got everything labelled correctly and was ready to hook things up.

Default Replaced car battery
I replaced my 7 year old Bosch AGM battery with an Everstart AGM battery from Walmart. The 997.2 is so easy to work on. After disconnecting the battery terminals, just one easy access bolt to remove the battery. Had a PSM error on the screen upon startup that disappeared in 30 seconds. Went for a drive around Tampa with my sunroof open and windows down in the 80 degree weather.

Parade laps at COTA with local PCA for $20 donation to charity. Lots of cars out there. 2 991 GT3s doing a photo shoot ahead of me.

😂 Fair enough! I don’t want to trash it because it was JUST parade laps, but it wasn’t as fun as I hoped. There were too many cars to actually get up to any amount of speed to enjoy it. The last time I did it in May there were waaaay fewer cars and you could actually get some good driving. I need to just pony up and do the full blown HPDE one of these days.
