Correct, and you will need to put the key in the ignition within about 30 or 60 seconds and turn to position #1 or full start, or else the alarm with activate.

The car goes into this "sleep mode" after about 5 days of inactivity. To get another 5 days, just hit your "lock" button on the key fob again on about day #4.

If your car drains the battery sitting for three weeks, you may want to check your draw when the car is off and the can-bus goes to sleep.

If you have time, pick up something like this maintainer - available at Walmar for $19 (based on my google search) and probably most local auto parts stores.

As long as there is no chance that it will rain on your car, you'll be fine.

Might want to change the oil as well before it gets left there (what is the best oil to leave in it for the 3 weeks?)

Guys...It's a friggin' CAR. Three weeks is nothing. You don't have to do a thing. It will be just fine. It will just be lonely, that's all.
