It was sent by Porsche marketing.....unannounced. I am on my 3rd 911, not sure if that matters. Random choice, I guess, but happy nonetheless!

Got mine today too. Only minor wrinkle was a minor typo re my middle initial, but it's a nice little gift and the accompanying 991 book is very nice too!

Mine just showed up in the mail! Really very slick; it's kind of the nice that the display goodie is personalized......

Got mine today.
At the risk of sounding like an ingrate (which I'm not), if Porsche is really serious about "greening" up a little, they should tell the guys in marketing to cool it on the packaging of their materials.
This promo item came in a huge box, with another big box inside it. Just way more materials than needed to get it delivered.
Like all Porsche stuff...very nicely done, and beautifully presented...but waaay too much packaging.
Nonetheless, thank you, Porsche. (I guess I DO sound like an ingrate.)

My wife made the same comment. Must say that the big outer box got chewed up a bit (although the inner one was fine) so it took on the abuse. OTOH, maybe if it had been smaller to begin with....

I was feeling left out but got mine today. Best part was my wife watched me open it like a Christmas present and thought it was so cool. She wanted to see all the other 911 models, read the book. Said- yeah, you can't pass this up...
