The the rear lid.

I've always like the look of the "4S' on the older 993 and 996 rear deck lids.....so how do you like this look?

the only thing is that there is no 911S model.
i think they call it a carreraS.

Just to clarify,

My 997 is an "S"......I just wanted to place the "S" somewhat off-center to achive the "look" that was on previous "Carrera 4S" vehicles.

Perhaps I will have to find the pic as a reference for everyone

+1 to that! The only thing missing on the 991 boot lid is the sticker price...expect that on the 991.2

The previous models are not off-center. It just the S is larger to wrap around the 4 but it is level with the script.

I finally went over to a dealer on Sat,.to get up close and personal with the 991.
Not feeling the love..not even a little bit.
All the talk of what a comfortable ride and how the PDK (the only ones they had, until further notice) was so much faster just made me want it less.
The interior...well the same designers that did that , and put the logo on the *** think the Panamera is a thing of beauty...so pleased with their work that they grafted it to the 911....thanks but no thanks.
It was so noted that in the 2012 model year the 911 jumped the shark.

I drove home, even more appreciative than ever, understanding how the 993 guys feel...holding on for dear life.
